Designed by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, the Fountaine Pajot 55 marks the beginning of a new era in bluewater cruising. With a length of 16.98 m and a beam of 8.80 m, it establishes itself as an exceptional catamaran, perfectly balancing generous volumes, refined interiors, and offshore performance.

Created to meet the expectations of the most demanding sailors, the FP55 stands out with its contemporary design, fluid circulation, and modular layouts. Powered as standard by twin 80 hp engines, it can welcome up to 28 guests for coastal cruising (Category D), while also holding offshore certifications (Category A, 14 guests).

This catamaran is aimed both at private owners seeking a spacious, luxurious yacht and at professionals in the premium charter market.

Design & Living Spaces: luxury and space redefined

The FP55 features a sleek exterior profile, highlighted by a panoramic coachroof and vast lounging areas. The aft cockpit, forward cockpit, and flybridge are conceived as true living spaces, designed to enhance conviviality at sea.

Inside, the saloon opens wide thanks to a three-panel sliding door and an additional forward cockpit access. Natural light floods the interior through expansive windows. The galley, fully open to the outdoors, includes a versatile central island (optional wine cellar or dishwasher), premium countertops, and top-grade equipment.

The lounge area is organized around a chaise longue and a large sofa with integrated storage, with the option to add a dedicated TV space. Every detail reflects the will to combine contemporary comfort with a pure yachting spirit.

Owner Suites & Guest Cabins

The Fountaine Pajot 55 comes in several versions, tailored to different onboard lifestyles:

Maestro 5-cabin: 1 owner’s suite with direct access to the cockpit + 1 double cabin to port, 3 double cabins to starboard.
Double Maestro 4-cabin: 2 owner’s suites, each with its own dressing room, office, and private bathroom, plus 2 double cabins.
6-cabin version: 6 double cabins, each with ensuite bathroom, ideal for intensive charter programs.

The owner’s suite (bed 1.70 x 2.00 m, walk-in wardrobe, office, bathroom with separate shower and WC) is distinguished by its volume and privacy. Guest cabins (island beds 1.50 x 2.00 m) also feature private bathrooms, ensuring comfort and independence for every guest.

Comfort & Performance

The FP55 is both powerful and well-balanced. With a mainsail of 110 m², a genoa of 66 m², and the option to add downwind sails, it delivers strong performance in all conditions. Its 1.85 m draft offers the right compromise between stability at sea and access to diverse anchorages.

Tank capacities are generous: 900 L of fresh water and 2 x 610 L of fuel provide extended autonomy for long passages. Maneuvers are centralized at the helm station, ensuring smooth, safe handling even with a reduced crew.
